കോഴിക്കോട്: ലഹരിക്കെതിരായ ജനകീയ ഇടപെടൽ ശക്തമാക്കാൻ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ എല്ലാ തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലും പ്രത്യേക സമിതികൾ രൂപീകരിക്കുന്ന ‘തൂഫാൻ തദ്ദേശം’ പദ്ധതിക്ക് സെപ്റ്റംബർ 28ന് തുടക്കമാകും. പഞ്ചായത്തുകൾ, നഗരസഭകൾ, കോർപ്പറേഷനുകൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്കൊപ്പം റസിഡന്റ്സ് അസോസിയേഷനുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രാദേശിക കൂട്ടായ്മകളെയും പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമാക്കും.

പോലീസിന്റെ ഇടപെടലിന് മുമ്പുതന്നെ സമൂഹത്തിലെ ലഹരി ഉപയോഗവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട അപകടസാധ്യതകൾ തിരിച്ചറിയുകയും ആവശ്യമായ ഇടപെടൽ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുകയാണ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം. ഇതിലൂടെ ജനകീയമായ ‘ഏർലി ഇന്റർവെൻഷൻ’ സംവിധാനം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തും.

സെപ്റ്റംബർ 28ന് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ എല്ലാ തദ്ദേശ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലും ‘തൂഫാൻ’ പതാക ഉയർത്തും. ലഹരി ഉപയോഗത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചനം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരെ ചികിത്സയിലേക്കും പുനരധിവാസത്തിലേക്കും എത്തിക്കുന്നതിനായി കൗൺസിലിംഗിനൊപ്പം റീഹാബിലിറ്റേഷൻ ഇടപെടലുകൾക്കും പദ്ധതി ഊന്നൽ നൽകും.

ഇതിന് പുറമെ ആപ്പ് അധിഷ്ഠിത റെസ്പോൺസീവ് മെക്കാനിസവും നിലവിൽ വരും. ലഹരി സംബന്ധമായ വിവരങ്ങൾ രഹസ്യമായി കൈമാറുന്നതിനുള്ള സംവിധാനവും ഇതിലൂടെ ഒരുക്കും.

Thiruvananthapuram: To strengthen public intervention against drugs, Toofan Thadesam project forming special committees in all local self government institutions in the state will start on September 28. Along with panchayats, municipalities, corporations, local collectives including residents associations will be made part of project. Including public representatives, Kudumbashree workers, ASHA workers, Haritha Karma Sena, youth sports organizations, student organizations, Toofan Warriors will function in each ward under leadership of ward members. Main aim is to identify danger possibilities related to drug use in society before police intervention and make necessary intervention, strengthening popular early intervention system. On September 28 Toofan flag will be hoisted in all local institutions. Project will give emphasis to rehabilitation interventions along with counseling to bring those wanting freedom from drug use to treatment and rehabilitation. Apart from this app based responsive mechanism will also come into existence, arranging system to secretly transfer drug related information.
