കോഴിക്കോട്: 47-ാമത് കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് പൊലീസ് അത്ലറ്റിക് ആൻഡ് സ്പോർട്സ് മീറ്റ് 2026ന്റെയും ഓപ്പറേഷൻ തൂഫാന്റെയും ഭാഗമായി കോഴിക്കോട് റൂറൽ ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് ടീമും ഐപിഎം അക്കാദമി വോളിബോൾ ടീമും തമ്മിൽ സൗഹൃദ വോളിബോൾ മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.

ഐപിഎം അക്കാദമിയിൽ നടന്ന മത്സരത്തിൽ കായിക താരങ്ങളും പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും പങ്കെടുത്തു. മത്സരത്തിൽ കോഴിക്കോട് റൂറൽ ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് ടീം വിജയികളായി. കോഴിക്കോട് റൂറൽ ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി മെറിൻ ജോസഫ് മത്സരം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

അഡീഷണൽ സൂപ്രണ്ട് ഓഫ് പൊലീസ് പ്രതീപ് കുമാർ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു.മുൻ ദേശീയ വോളിബോൾ താരവും ബിഎസ്എഫ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കമാൻഡന്റുമായ റോയ് ജോസഫ് മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി പങ്കെടുത്തു. കോഴിക്കോട് റൂറൽ ഡിവൈഎസ്പി സ്പെഷ്യൽ ബ്രാഞ്ച് ജി ബാലചന്ദ്രൻ, റൂറൽ നാർക്കോട്ടിക് സെൽ ഡിവൈഎസ്പി റാണാ ചന്ദ്രൻ, മുൻ ബിഎസ്എഫ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കമാൻഡന്റും ഐപിഎം അക്കാദമി ഡയറക്ടറുമായ കെ പ്രസാദ് തുടങ്ങിയവർ ചടങ്ങിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു.

കേരള പൊലീസിന്റെ കായിക മേളയുടെ പ്രചാരണത്തിന്റെയും ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള ഓപ്പറേഷൻ തൂഫാന്റെയും ഭാഗമായാണ് സൗഹൃദ മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്.

As part of 47th Kerala State Police Athletic and Sports Meet 2026 and Operation Toofan, a friendly volleyball match was organized between Kozhikode Rural District Police team and IPM Academy volleyball team. The match held at IPM Academy saw participation of sports persons and police officials. Kozhikode Rural District Police team emerged winners.
