ചേളന്നൂർ ബാലകൃഷ്ണ വുഡ് ഇൻഡസ്ട്രീസ് ഉടമ ഈന്താട്ട് പുരുഷോത്തമൻ (57) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 8.30ഓടെ കാക്കൂർ ജംക്‌ഷനിലാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്.

ജോലിസ്ഥലത്തേക്കു ബൈക്കിൽ പോകുമ്പോൾ ബാലുശേരി ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നു രോഗിയുമായി അമിത വേഗത്തിൽ എത്തിയ ആംബുലൻസ് ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ തെറിച്ചുവീണ് ഗുരുതരമായി പുരുഷോത്തമനെ അതേ ആംബുലൻസിൽ കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഇന്നു പുലർച്ചെ മരിച്ചു.
